OUR STORY
Founded on decades of industry experience, Acre Rig Mats traces its roots back to 1995, when our founder, David Stasiewich recognized a growing need for safer, more reliable site access and foundations on rig sites. At the time, many operations relied on basic timber solutions, inspiring David to begin manufacturing high-quality rig mats tailored to the industry's demands.
After successfully building and growing his first rig mat company — which was acquired in 2008 — David re-entered the industry in 2017 with the launch of Acre Rig Mats. Today, the company continues as a family-led business under the leadership of his son, Philip Stasiewich, and son-in-law, Jared Bathelt, carrying forward the same commitment to quality, reliability, and customer service that started it all.
